As someone who grew up totally admiring all those great Hipgnosis album covers of the 60's, 70's, and 80's...you know, album like Dark Side Of The Moon, Deceptive Bends, UFO's Force It, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Scoprions Lovedrive and so on, we are totally blown out of the water by the new Ladytron album cover for their upcoming release, White Elephants.
Designed by Neil Krug, the cover totally recalls the grandeur, majesty, and mystery that so many of those Hipgnosis and Storm Thorgurson covers had. Most importantly, it doesn't scream "Hey, we knocked this out in ten minutes with our drummer's pirated copy of Photoshop" and, for that, we thank Ladytron!
By the way, the new Ladytron album comes out September 13.
