In 1974, the members of Led Zeppelin attended an Elvis Presley concert at the L.A. Forum. Elvis spent over two hours backstage with the band, gathering autographs for his daughter Lisa Marie.
On this date in 1981, reggae pioneer Bob Marley died of lung cancer and a brain tumour at the age of 36. In 1990, February 6th was proclaimed a national holiday in Jamaica to commemorate his birth.
