A reliable source (who also happens to run one of the best music joints in town) reports that hometown favorite Wilco are currently undergoing some personnel changes as they prepare to complete what will be their first album for their own label, dBpm Records.
Said the source, "With the band no longer affiliated with a label, there's no tour support. With no tour support, Jeff Tweedy is finding out who his friends in the band really are and which ones were there for the paycheck."
Additionally, rumors are circulating that noted Chicago guitar slinger Scott Ligon has been taking part in recent Wilco sessions and may be joining the Wilco fold, albeit not exclusively, as he is currently in the Western Elstons, Kelly Hogan and NRBQ.
We will keep you posted as more information is made available.
