It's been a helluva year for the Foo Fighters. After nabbing their first #1 album ever with their seventh studio effort, Wasting Light, and headlining this year's Lollapalooza Festival, word has it that the Foo Fighters next move will the release of a live album, part of which will be culled from the band's recent performance at Chicago's legendary Metro just days before the band's appearance at Lolla.
Noted mixer-producer Andy Wallace has already been tapped to begin assembling and mixing tracks. If that name sounds familiar, he is the man who mixed Nirvana's breakout album, Nevermind.
