As the winter months quickly approach, the days of practicing on the back porch, or in the garage (you know, the unheated one) are bound to come to a sudden, brutal end. With that in mind, we at Superior St. and our sister facility Knox Avenue urge such bands to be proactive in lining up some new digs for the winter.
Being the client-driven mofos that we is, we offer not one, but TWO locations to best serve Chicago's musical brethren. First, we've got Superior St., located west of the loop, just south of Chicago Avenue, near Ukrainian Village. This facility offers you a wide array of room configurations, several hourly rooms to choose from, and gritty ambiance out the wazoo. Got a label or high-powered manager coming into town to check you out? If so, we've got a world-famous showcase room that gives you the professional edge in creating the proper vibe with which to blow their doors off. If you've always imagined rehearsing in the same place where so many of Chicago's greatest artists have honed their craft, Superior St. is the place.

Knox Avenue opened its doors in 2010 and, in doing so, became the premier rehearsal facility on the NorthWest side. Just south of the Kennedy/Eden split, Knox Avenue is a brand-new facility, built from the ground up with Chicago's musicians in mind. For starters, all rooms are brand-spankin' new AND located on the ground floor for easy load-in/load-out. Acoustic sound-proofing throughout means the only band you hear when you jam will be yours. Since Knox Avenue is the sister facility to Superior St., the fine folks at Superior St. were able to customize Knox Avenue based on the experiences they've had in running Superior St. over the years, and from listening to the feedback and suggestions of clients. The result is a top-flight facility capable of providing you with the space to grow as an artist.
