Trouser Press Founder Ira Robbins To Appear On WFMU-FM Tonight 8PM (Central)!


Legendary rock writer and founder of Trouser Press magazine, Ira Robbins (no relation) will be joining DJ Evan "Funk" Davies to discuss Trouser Press's 40th anniversary and the big Power Pop Festival they're co-presenting this weekend at the Bell House, among other things. Plus Ira's bringing a bunch of records to play! 

Additionally, Chicago's own Mimi Betinis of Pezband fame will be calling into the show to discuss his band's appearance at the festival, which is to be held at Brooklyn's Bell House on Friday, May 9.  

Tickets are still available for the event, which features headliner Dwight Twilley and guest performer Ron Flynt of 20/20 fame.
