1. The band's first U.S. album, 1973's "Moontan" (aka "the one with 'Radar Love" on it") was actually their ninth studio album!
2. Golden Earring's 1969 album Eight Miles High, featured a 19-minute version of the Byrds' 1966 hit.
3. The band's brief '80s resurgence came after hiring outside producer Shell Schellekens to man the boards for their 1982 Cut album, which featured the Top 10 U.S. hit "Twilight Zone". Schellekens would also produce Falco's 1986 album, Emotional.
4. White Lion covered "Radar Love" in 1989. They were never heard from again.
5. The band's relationship with photographer videographer Anton Corbijn (U2, INXS, Depeche Mode) stretches back to 1978, when Corbijn shot the group for the cover of their Jimmy Iovine-produced album, Grab It For A Second. Corbijn would direct the video for the band's single "Quiet Eyes" in 1986.
