No More Wishing: A Flock Of Seagulls Original Line-Up Is Back!

Mike Score takes a well-deserved break from touring his rag-tag crew of faux Seagulls around the U.S. lo these past thirty years and gets the original band back together for a symphonic reworking of one of their most popular songs - but, thankfully, not THE SONG.

With original members Mike and Ali Score, Frank Maudsley, and Paul Reynolds, A Flock of Seagulls will be releasing their latest full-length album, Ascension, on July 29.

The album brings a symphonic slant to a tasty selection of tracks culled from the band's first three albums (A Flock Of Seagulls, Listen, and The Story of A Young Heart).

While it would be nice to see the original line-up tour together, it appears that the band were never in the same room together for this entire project. While 3/4 of the band gathered for the filming of the above video, Ali Score's parts were filmed elsewhere and added in post-production, so this fan won't be holding his breath for a reunion tour.
