This past Saturday, WXRT radio vet Terry Hemmert was inducted into the National Radio Hall Of Fame. As a DJ, musicologist, and champion of locals acts such as Smashing Pumpkins, she is one of the few rock jocks in Chicago to have logged over three decades with the same station, joining WXRT in 1973.
Inducting her into the Hall of Fame was none other than Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan.
