If you're a fan of the Beatles who long ago soaked up every previously unseen tidbit from the expansive Beatles Anthology and is clamoring for something new (to us anyway) from deep within the Fab Vault, circle September 16 on your calendar because that date marks the theatrical release of Ron Howard's exhaustive documentary on the Beatles' early career spent mostly on the road.
Said to include enough rare and unseen footage to make even the most jaded Beatlemaniac drool, the fine folks at Imagine have compiled and painstakingly restored much of the footage included here, including many reels submitted by fans and never shown publicly as well as sound board audio recordings of many of their concert performances.
Cities and theatres where the film will be shown starting September 16th are yet to be confirmed. Hulu will make the film available for streaming on September 17th.
